Silk Foods Ceylon is a certified organic food factory at Silk AgTech Park in Matale, built to make food and wellness products to spec, at scale, and to standard.
We exist to bring product ideas to life. Brands, founders and retailers come to us with a recipe, a concept or a raw material, and leave with a finished, certified, packed product they can sell. That means holding a specification, proving food safety and producing the same result batch after batch.
The factory sits inside Silk AgTech Park in Matale, in the heart of Sri Lanka. It is built around a simple idea: real agriculture and modern manufacturing in one place, so what we grow and what we make stay close together and fully traceable.
What makes it different
Built to adapt, rooted in the land
Cellular manufacturing
Our lines are modular and reconfigurable. We rearrange machinery with minimal downtime to spin up a new product, so a new line is a fast change rather than a months-long rebuild.
An on-site organic plantation
An organic plantation, including hydroponics, adjoins the factory. Growing on the same grounds means traceable, vertically integrated supply and tighter control over quality.
Stay and tour the facility
We offer exclusive accommodation and agri-tourism: customers and visitors can stay on-site, walk the plantation and see the lines that will make their product.

Silk Foods Ceylon is the manufacturing arm of the E-Silk Route Ventures group. Where a project needs export logistics and global sourcing, we work hand in hand with our sister company, E-Silk Route Ventures, so production and export stay joined up.
