Overview
Iramusu (Hemidesmus indicus) in whole-root form, slender woody dried roots with a characteristic sweet, earthy, vanilla-tinged scent. The intact roots suit traditional slow decoctions, visible-botanical tea blends and as feedstock for cutting or extraction. Offered in bulk to botanical processors, tea houses and private-label brands. Also available as: Powder: Powdered iramusu (Indian sarsaparilla) root, woody and aromatic with a cooling character. Tea-bag cut: Iramusu root cut to tea-bag size, brewing a mild, earthy-sweet sarsaparilla infusion.
