Overview

Dried leaves of the Ceylon cinnamon tree (Cinnamomum verum), warm and clove-like with a gently spicy, faintly sweet aroma distinct from the bark. They are infused into spiced teas and herbal blends, used to flavour broths and rice dishes, or distilled for their aromatic oil. Supplied in bulk to tea blenders, spice houses and food manufacturers.
